After
months of careful research, technical evaluation and field
trials, River Test Tackle has produced the truly remarkable RTX
range of rods. Built to our own demanding specifications, that
will appeal to all fly-fishermen, these top quality rods are special
in that they combine the tolerance required by beginners with the
strength, response and sensitivity required by experts.
Like other comparable top quality rods, they carry a lifetime,
unconditional guarantee for the first owner (thereafter subject to a
token charge of £25 to cover administration costs and postage in
the uk).

The
blank is made of top quality high modulus ‘pro-special’
carbon graphite – the ultimate in structure and weave to ensure
lightness, strength and fracture resistance – with a matt finish.

The
rod is furnished throughout with top of the line fuji sic (zirconium
oxide with a hard chrome coating) stripping guides, intermediate
guides and tip ring.

The
reel seat is made of black tigerwood and titanium coated aluminium,
which beautifully complements the dark green matt finish of the blank.

The
handles and fighting butts are made of super grade cork, half
wells design for rods under 6wt and full wells for rods of 6wt and above.
All
RTX
rods come complete with a tailored fabric sleeve and a screw-top
aluminium carrying case, to protect them from damage.

Light, crisp and delicate, with a progressive tip to middle action,

fisherman who like to fish imitative flies on fine

combine power and versatility, this rod has more of a tip
action, which generates enormous line speed and extremely tight
loops. It can cast very long distances with comparative
ease even with large flies and in windy conditions. Use this
rod with great confidence on any stillwater (from 1 to 1000 acres) or
try your hand at catching pike on a fly or even bass on the
coast. This rod also has the power and performance to
